I remember I bought SC2 for the PS2 back in the day, I played it for like a week and then never touched it again. I think I gave it to my little stepbrother for free like a month later. The franchise has sucked cock on console forever. I wouldn't buy the new one it just looks like a more polished piece of shit.

I just can't play platform fighting games for the most part really. They haven't evolved very much and I am not much a fan of the controls and attack movements in the game.
I'm just sticking with Smash Bros.

SC 3 was a fuckin tits fighting game. In order to really enjoy the game you and a couple of friends have to get good at it. When you get good enough to beat the shit out of any button mashing assholes that play you really learn to love the game. I could make this post a fucking page long review on how I love the game but fuck it all I will say it this is in my opinion the best fighting game ever made.
I am forcing my brother into getting it and I am demanding the AZ crew have a sexy soul calibur night. I'm going to get it too I just need to get an xbox first and that will get done when I get my financial aid for school.

Even if I had a 360, or a PS3, I would refuse to get this game on the grounds that they have incorporated star wars characters into the game.

So I caved in and got the game today. Me and chris were playing it and its pretty damn fun. You can complete the story mode in like 5-10 minutes tops with each guy. But then....we played online.... AND HOLY SHIT I WANTED TO PUNCH A FUCKING BABY! Ranked matched forget about it, 90% of the people will play kilik or a customized character with kiliks style. Kilik is the fucking fag with the bo-staff. He can attack over halfway across the whole screen and swing vertically and horizontally and cover almost any path to get to him, it is fucking horse shit. Oh and I LOVE piling someone and getting them down to no fucking health when i have 100% and they ring out me with 1 hit. Me and chris were getting so frustrated. Anyway its still a pretty damn good game and im sure there are ways to beat those douchebags with proper guarding and actually knowing the damn character your playing as.

So I played the shit out of SC 4 and I have a few complaints but when it comes right down to it the game is still fun. My biggest complaint is that there is no tournament mode and they fucked ivy up huge time for me so i can't play her anymore.

anyone actually getting this game? I've been thinking about it, but I remember getting the last one and playing it for a week and getting bored. I never actually got good at the advanced fighting besides basic combos and shit.
