Thoughts? IMO: so awesome. Worth every penny once again. Valve is not aware of how to release a bad game.

& for the aussies, here's how you edit the demo so you can play with gore enabled:

In your steam directory open this file:

Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2 demo\steam_appid.txt

Change the 590 to 510. Then open this file:

Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2 demo\left4dead2\steam.inf

And change the appID=590 to appID=510.

Then just make sure Steam is running and run the game by directly launching the left 4 dead 2 executable here:

Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2 demo\left4dead2.exe Quote

L4d 1 was spectacular, you just bought it in the ass end of its lifetime.

You missed pretty much all the legendary stuff that happens when people are still learning how to play.

Also, I would recommend L4d2, as melee weapons are badass. There's nothing more satisfying than sneaking up behind a zombie with a frying pan and hearing the BUNG sound as you kill them. Quote
