Looks interesting, but definatly not getting it. Too many other games coming out plus it looks like it will get boring fast, to me atleast.

Yeah I played with the creature creator, I made one thing and then was really bored. It's funny, and interesting, but it's not fun.

Yea i just read a review on the game and its stages. I imagine this would get old very fast, novelty factor being about all the game has to offer.

really cool customization options. The game is absolutely crazy with the amount of things you can do to your creatures and how many different paths you can take. The user based DLC is also gonna make customization insane. But aside from that there really isnt anything to the game. The actual gameplay is really weak. With the stage system it is just a redo of everything else but a watered down version. PRob a really good game for women who cannot play difficult games, but love to dress shit up.

I agree. Honestly beyond building the creature it is very simplistic and even your design options have little to no effect on your evolution. Having six legs has no effect, you might as well have two. Don't want eyes? That's fine, apparently makes almost no difference either! I like the creature creator, but making buildings is boring as fuck.
It was supposed to be an awsome game about evolution and how it affects shit. Instead, its just build a creature and play some basic strategy games. Interesting for a while, but doesn't hold my interest for very long.

Plus it just sounds like a bloated boring concept to me. Like I wouldn't even particularly be interested in pirating it and playing it for free, letting alone paying $50 for a game that will lock me out after multiple installs and is probably half-complete (content-wise) owing to 300 expansions packs coming down the line to "finish" the game. I don't feel like rewarding that kind of production philosophy with my money.

I just picked up copies for me and ania, delicious. Was quite suprised that i didnt have to fuckin fly to quebec and suck off ea to activate the game and prove that i didn't pirate it so i am suitably impressed so far. i'll let you nigs know what i think of the actual game later !
