If anyone still cares, you can try out Chrome without all the spyware Google stuffs into it. It's a fork called Iron, http://www.srware.net/en/software_srware_iron.php

In all honesty, I do like how fast it is and that it doesn't bloat too easily (seemingly no memory leaks). I don't like that there's few mods and few config options.

man it's been like a year and now i'm running the dev channel. i've just switched over to chrome as my main browser, fuckin thing is lightning fast.

download it, then download the chrome channel changer & upgrade to the dev channel. that way you get extensions.
the adblocking extensions aren't as good as the firefox ones but they work well enough.
