Whats wrong exactly? optus have to come out and fix your internet if there is a problem with it that is not your fault. TPG is tits mcgee i synch at 8mbps usually and i am like 3 strets from you. That is the regular synch speed of cable in australia so you are not going to be losing speed if you are worried about that. 70 bux a month for 150gig is pretty good. iiNet also have a similar deal, however if your home phone line is with optus you need to check if any adsl/adsl2+ based isp have access to your exchange. Optus does not let external companies into most of their exchanges for some unknown reason (competition).

Am I going to have to call up the indians at Optus to come out and drop another line down my side of the house, or can I just ring up an electrician for that shit? I'd rather the electrician, if they can, because my experiences with Optus techs have been less than satisfactory.
Either that, or should I get a new ISP? I'd go with Telstra, but they charge out the asshole, and offer plans with fuck all bandwidth.
What's TPG like? Will it be all complicated and shit, or is it something I can handle?
Also, what's their speed like?
