pick me out a video card

I'd recommend something off of this list http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=2010380048%2050001402%204017&name=%24100%20-%20%24200. EVGA is a pretty damned solid video card manufacturer, I've been extremely happy with everything I've bought from them. I'm using http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130475 right now, its a bit out of your price range but it runs like a fucking champ. Before you buy something make sure your computer can handle it, these new video cards are huge and a lot of people ahve difficulty fnding space in their tower to even plug them in, The higher end ones also have some massive power demands so make sure your power source is big enough too.

How do you check compatability for video cards these days? Can I goto some site and enter in my motherboard stats or something and find out if they will match? I'm really a fucking idiot with this shit nowadays I haven't paid attention to PC Tech for years.
That one you got looks pretty nice, if it is the shit as much as you say it is I could probably ice it out.

The key things you need to look for are matching pci slots power supply wattage and physical size of the card. You have a newer computer so you almost definitley will have pci express slots which are what
you need for
new cards. You are going to have to open up your computer an check the power supply for it's wattage and possibly do some measurements to make sure it'll fit. I'll be on vent tonight so I can help you out if you've got questions.
