you sir have just convinced me of how retarded WoW really is and how cool warhammer is going to be. i'm going to check out their website and snoop around try and fiure what class/race i wanna play. i'm thinking any kind of summoner/spellcaster since i'm not really a hack and slash kinda guy. thanks for making this thread just for me vernand i feel tingly all inside

I'm going to be playing a Magus for release, I reckon. I'm going to check out what they're like in Beta.
It looks like a mage/warlock sort of thing from WoW. You shoot fireballs/summon demons, etc.
Plus you get to ride around on a badass disc the whole time, so you can pretend your that guy from back to the future on the hoverboard.
Either that, or a Chosen big warrior dood. Just so I can put in a macro with every weapon swing that sez "BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!"

alright so how does it work there's like 6 races and from each race you can select classes just like in WoW. would i be able to choose any race and still play with all you guys or all the races at war. they all look pretty cool except maybe the humans. i wanted to be like a shapeshifter or summoner

Still decided between Chaos Chosen, Chaos Marauder, or Greenskin Black Orc. Can't decide yet!
IF I am Chosen (which seems most likely) def going to go Path of Strife for ultimate savagery.

Ill post more screenshots of the black orc and marauder tonight Jeff. Actually ill try and get all the classes. Maybe you should go Black orc to keep with orc savagery image of back in the day haha, they dont look bad at all. I need to check out some of there moves.
Chaos Chosen have auras like paladins that do a shit load of different things. They have an area root, hamstring type of ability, bleeds, a move called Guard which you place on an ally and as long as he is within a certain range of you, you will take 50% of the damage he recieves. So that will be on the healers almost all the time. Also as a zealot, i can throw this curse on someone (only 1 player at a time) that reduces their damage towards me by 25%. Zealot/Chosen looks like a nice combo right now.

Skaven probably will never be introduced vernand because in my opinion they wouldn't side with anyone but I guess you could make them join destruction and just let some nerds cry(most are probably already crying over the destruction alliance dinger). If they added a fourth race in the future I think destruction would get a cool new one but order would kinda get a dumb one. In warhammer you have ogres, vampires(general undead), tomb kings(more undead), skaven, lizardmen, bretonnia(more humans), and wood elves. There are more but those are the big ones and lookin at it order can only really get either more humans or more elves.

I will have to put together a new rig for this game. I'm going to try to do it on the cheap probably, we'll see.

WoW is a game based around PvE (or Pooping Via Eyelids) with elements of PvP.
Warhammer is a game based around PvP (or Realm vs Realm - RvR) with elements of PvE.
WoW is a game about different races being super-friends, and helping each other fight internet dragons. The only thing worth laughing at is immune guild chat logs.
Warhammer is a game about races hating and killing other races. It's very violent, funny, and dark.
To Level in WoW, you need to kill mobs, complete quests that require you to kill mobs, and deliver letters from one zone to another.
To level in Warhammer, you pick up your axe, you swing it into the nearest enemy players head, and you gain experience. Or you can kill mobs. Or you can join Public quests (which I'm told ROCK).
Exciting future features in WoW consist of implementing a barbershop, where you can change your hairstyle or player housing, where you can play interior decorator.
Exciting future features in Warhammer consist of implementing 4 new cities which you can raid and ransack, and more playable classes in the future (maybe - fucking hoping skaven get in).
In WoW, you can trash talk other guilds on the forums.
In Warhammer, you can rock up to a guild controlled keep, take it over, put your battle standards all over the place, and then prevent them from taking the keep for as long as you care to do so.
In WoW, end game content consists of Arena's and 20-40 man instances.
In Warhammer, end game content consists of fighting your way to your enemies capital city, smashing your way into their city, setting it on fire, ransacking it, killing their top NPC, and then carrying its head all the way back to your capital city to put it on display.
In WoW, to cock block someones attack, you run through them.
In Warhammer, if you try to run through a character, you find out you can't, and you get skull fucked.
In WoW, you run instances multiple times and constantly get gear that is specialized for classes that aren't even in your group.
In Warhammer, the loot system is class specific. You'll never get an item that your class can't use in some way. It works vegas style, in public quests. You get judged on your participation, and then the luck wheel rolls, and you get awarded a point value. BING! Here comes your gear. Oh, but wait, you don't want gear? Oh. Shit. Well, never fret, because you can CHOOSE between gear/money/whatever.
In WoW, crafting is like slow and painful torture. You pick up recipes that have as much use as a paper urinal.
In Warhammer, crafting takes a backseat to PvP - But is still insanely useful. You make things that will help you in PvP. For example, potion crafting is awesome. You combine different ingredients into the same recipe to give the crafted potion different attributes (eg, lasts longer/makes it stronger but for a shorter time, etc).
In WoW, you can either be DPS, Healer, or Hunter.
In Warhammer, every class is DPS, with Healer Hybrids. You can be a Dark Elf Warrior that heals their party while smashing the shit out of something in front of you.
In WoW, world pvp consists of riding around on your flying mount to find some poor sucker.
In Warhammer, world pvp is the BASIS of the game, from the starting zone, to the end zone.
In WoW, you get into a guild so you can get better gear by doing guild stuff like running instances.
In Warhammer, you get into a guild so you can talk with people easier while you SMASH THE SHIT out of the enemy.
In WoW, your guild has a guild bank.
In Warhammer, your guild LEVELS AS WELL AS YOU DO. I'm pretty sure there's a guild bank, but who cares. SMASH FASES WHILE TALKING SHIT OVER VENT.
