Okay, since all the servers are down until the weekend preview, I'm going to have to use one of Draghun's beta screenshots. Doesn't matter, it'll do the same job, except I won't be able to take you as far indepth as I wanted to with the stock UI modifying stuff.

So, here we go. Here is a screenshot of the War UI. I had to use Draghun's because the servers are currently closed, but that's alright. This should do the job satisfactorally. If you need a bigger image, go to his thread and check them out.

Experience Bar:

Okay, first up, along the top of the screen, you will find your experience bar. This tracks the mundane experience you will earn to increase your character level.
Notice how the first bubble or compartment is highlighted, while the rest is greyed out? This is because that first bubble/compartment is REST EXPERIENCE. Yes, WAR has rest experience. An extra incentive to create a character of each race at launch? I'd say so, and that's what I'll be doing.

Renown Bar:

Okay, just below to the bottom left of the experience bar is the Renown Bar. Firstly, let me give you a run down on what Renown is. Renown is like experience points, awarded for PvP'ing. Everytime you kill an enemy player, or contribute towards a kill you earn renown points. Why collect renown? Because with each level of renown you gain, your basic title gets an upgrade... So, for an example, it will go from <Minion> (Level 1 Renown) to <Militiamen> (level 5 Renown). Now, I hear you all saying, WHO GIVES A FUCK ABOUT THAT!? I agree. Who fucking cares? Well, that's not all Renown does folks. With each level of renown, you also gain a Renown Spending Point, where you can go to a Renown trainer and train a certain renown technique to help you in PvE and PvP. These range from techniques that PERMANENTLY (as long as you have it spec'ed) increase your player stats (EG, Toughness +1, Spiritual Resistence +1, Ballistic Skill +1) and can also give you certain bonus's in PvP (EG, +5% exp for each PvP kill, +5% Money for each PvP kill). So renown is something you DEFINATELY want.

Character Info Thingy:

Okay, right below the Renown bar, you will find something familiar to our WoW days. Basically, it performs in the same way. In the circular bubble, you will see a character portrait. Nothing special there.
Just to the above left of the character portrait, you will see your character level. Nothing special there.
To the right top side of your Character portrait, you will see your character name displayed.
Now, we get to business. Below your character name, you will see a green health bar. Nothing special really, but this is your Health Gauge. Handy.
Below your health bar, you will see a yellow bar. This is where the business end starts. There is no such thing as Mana, Energy, etc, in Warhammer. In its place, it has Action Points. Action points acts like mana, energy, rage, ect. Each ability you have costs a certain amount of action points, and when you use an ability, the yellow action bar will drain a little according to the abilities cost. Now, something good to note about action points, is that at lower levels, you don't even notice the AP drain. However, as you get around level 4-5 you begin to notice it and be wary of your AP useage. It does recharge fairly quickly though, and although there are times where you will get cockblocked with no AP, you only have to wait a few seconds before it will recharge enough to use an ability.
Below the AP bar, you will see a blue square with an unique icon. This, my friends and bitter enemies, is a Buff. They are AWESOME. I could tell you more about buffs, but I'll leave that for another day. Debuffs get displayed on the same line, but are in a different colour. Timers, ladies and gentlemen, are also STOCK, all buffs and debuffs come with timers at no extra cost.
Now, for something new and interesting. Do you see the small circular icon below your character portrait to the bottom left? This is AWESOME. This is the grouping helper thingy. If you click it, it will bring up a display of the open groups in the zone, what those groups are listed as doing (EG, PvP, PvE, Public Quests, Quests, Etc). This makes things really easy to quickly pick up a group, or form a group. Much much better than that stupid meeting stone idea. This idea actually WORKS.
Moving on...

Menu Icons: (From left to right)

Okay, moving on to Menu Icons. Firstly, we'll focus on the small icon of a hand. This icon brings up a box of all your abilities, and more. If you click it, it will bring up a box where you can access your combat abilities, moral abilities, crafting abilities and more. A little bit overwhelming at first, once you get used to it, it's really easy to navigate. I did plan on taking screenshots of this whole bit, but I can't, so I'm not. Deal with it. But it's awesome.

Secondly, moving on, you'll see a bag icon. This brings up your inventory. You start off with two bags. You get more bags as you level up. Now, you can view your bags in a few different views. You can view it in icon view, and you can view it in a list mode. The icon mode is a lot like the WoW bag system. The list mode isn't, but it's really handy for sorting your bags for useless items. It makes keeping your bags neat and tidy a breeze. Further than that, the list mode has different filters that you can select, to make finding that one allusive item a breeze. You can sort things, from memory, by type, something else, something else, and something else. Fuck it, I have a terrible memory. The bag will also display how much moneys you have with you.

Thirdly, you'll see a picture of a head in a helmet. Clicking this will bring up indepth information on your character, equipment slots, etc. AND JESUS FUCKING CHRIST THERE IS A LOT OF AVAILABLE EQUIPMENT SLOTS YOU HAVE NO IDEA. I think, in 12 levels, I managed to fill a quarter of my equipment slots. Seriously, it's huge.
Now, I know this has very little to do with the Character information, but you really CAN customize your character for that individual look. You can equip different trophies to your character to show off different amulets, etc. And you can get Dyes or go to a merchant/vendor and have them dye your items to different colours. Yes, you can customly die your equipment different colours. It's quite interesting, and I wish I had played around with it more.

Fourthly, you'll see a book icon. This is your tome of knowledge. When you click this icon, it will bring up a book onscreen where you can view lore, achievements, influence status on Public quests, titles, etc. Now, I'll go through a few of these things individually, to give you a bit of a better rundown on them.
Lore - I didn't look at it. Fuck it. But for those new to warhammer, if you enjoyed WoW lore, or just like RP'ing like a faggot like I do, you'll like the lore.
Achievements - Achievements are pure sex. You get them without knowing what you're aiming for. Doing different things gets you Achievements, and EXPERIENCE FOR EARNING THOSE ACHIEVEMENTS. I died 10 times from mobs. BAM! Achievement and Title <Victim> unlocked, as well as Exp earned for dying 10 times. I killed 20 Wolves. BAM! Achievement, I killed 20 wolves. And so on and so forth. I got 20 crit strikes, BAM! Achievement unlocked, experience earned. I get rewarded for doing what I was already doing.
Influence RE: Public Quests - Doing public quests nets you Influence points. You can to fill up 3 bars worth of Influence points. At low levels, you only need 3000 influence points. Easy. It gets harder as you go on, with PQ's requiring 9000+ IP's. These have awesome rewards though. Fill up the first bar, and you get a potion. Boring, but some are cool. Second bar, and you get a mediocre item reward. Third bar, and you get a pimping reward. Gaining influence points isn't hard. Killing a PQ required Mob gets you 50-100 influence points. Usually, you only have to do a PQ 3-4 times maybe to fill out the bar. It's not hard. It's interesting. It's like being in an instance out in the open world, with as many people as there are around you doing it as well. Doing PQ's gets rewarded in different ways as well, at the end it measures your contribution to the PQ, and then rolls a lucky roll, and you get awarded a rank. If you get a top rank, you get to reach into a box that spawns for a loot bag. When you get a loot bag, you can pick one item out of that loot bag. You have the choice between an Item, different good crafting stuff, or the money. It's really cool when you finally get a loot bag, but if there are a lot of people around, it can be hard to get one.
Titles - From here, you can choose your visible character title. You can switch from your default renown title to different earned titles. You earn titles by doing different things, some by achievements, other other things. Some titles I achieved were <Militiamen> <Pirate> <Cutpurse> <Victim>. It's a bit of alright.
Quests - This is a bit like the quest log in wow, but not as good in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, it's awesome, but it's not as clear and a little bit confusing to use. But you can use it to view all your quests, and track them on your map and UI.

Next along, you'll see the WAR icon. This will bring up the main menu. Stuff like log out, exit, file appeal, report bug, keymapping, etc. BORING!

Next in line, you'll see something that looks like a spanner head. This is your icon to click if you want to mod your ui. With the Stock UI, you can change your bars from 1-2-4 bars. It will also let you choose if you want the 2 bars stacked or side by side. The four bars are stacked and side by side.
You can also go into the Layout editor, in which it will turn all your UI elements green and allow you to place ANYTHING ANYWHERE. Don't like something where it is, move it. Fuck it, just move it. They don't care, they just want you to be able to move shit. This goes for the main bar art as well. A tooltip getting in the way of seeing your combo counter? Move your combo counter.

Beside that is something that I can't remember what it is.

Besides that something that I can't remember what it is, is something I never clicked either. I assume its a help thingy, hence the question mark icon.

Zone Ownership

Okay, moving to the right side of the screenshot, you will see a red bar with a cross on the left, and a skull on the right. This is the Zone Influence bar. When you play, you'll see a blue and red bar up there. This bar marks the Zone Influence and who, if anyone, is in control of the zone. If you hover your mouse over it, it will show you who is currently in control, and what bonus's you are recieving for being in control. Being in control gives you bonus's like +exp and +moneys. Plus it helps towards the overall war effort. You want to be in control. To be in control, you need to play and win the Zone scenarios. And maybe other stuff. I don't know, I'm not a wizard (lol DOCTOR).

Map Bubble and Icons around Map:

Okay, below the Zone Influence bar, you'll find the map bubble and an assortment of other icons. The map is straightforward. There's the title of the area you're currently in, and then there's the area map bubble. The area map bubble is good, because you can track your quests in it. If your quest is in an area, that area will appear red in the map bubble. Much better than wow, imo. Those green marks on the map are for quests that you can get. The yellow icons are for quests you are doing. When those marks are orange, they stand for quests you have completed and can turn them into people there. There's more but this is going to be huge, so I'll leave the rest for a surprise.

Icons -

Square Thingy - I can't remember what the fuck this does.

Weird Orange War symbol - This lets you queue for a Scenario from WHERE EVER YOU ARE ON THE MAP. Battlemasters? Fuck off. You can join from ANYWHERE. You can join Solo or with a group.

Weird World Symbol - This brings up a large, more in depth map.

+/- Slider - This zooms in/out on your map bubble.

Green bar at the Side - This tracks your Influence Bar bubbles for public quests. It's an easy way to see how much Influence you have with a PQ and how much more you'll need for pimp rewards.

UI Quest Tracking

Okay, below the map on the right side, you'll see wierd writing. This is quests you are tracking. You can track 10 at a time. It tracks AUTOMATICALLY. You pick up a quest, it'll track it if its part of the 10 you're tracking.

Chat thingy:

Moving back to the left side of the screen, on the lower left hand corner you'll see a chat thingy like wow had. I never fucked around with it much, it's pretty much basically the same as WoW, probably better seeing as this is WAR and not WoW.

Tactic/Renown/Banner thingy abilities:

okay, below the chat bar you'll see some weird icons. These are a list of Tactical/Renown/Banner thingy abilities that you have equiped. You can hover your mouse over them for details on those abilities. These are AWESOME. They are bonuses you have equiped though, not abilities that you can use.

Action Bar

This is the good old Action bar in the middle bottom of the screen. It's a lot like WoW. I shouldn't need to go more in depth in it. It's basic, and easy to understand. Oh, except for different character class types. If you're a class that rely's on combo's, a UI thingy will appear above the action bar, and it will track how many combo points you have available. From what I have seen, combo points aren't target specific. You can hammer away on 1 target to gain 5 combo points, and then blow them on another target. Better than WoW rogue, imo.

Moral ability bar:

Now we come to the old money maker. Moral abilities FUCKING ROCK. Playing the Witch Hunter, I worked up to having 2 moral abilities. The first was an attack that does 300-400 damage. The second was an ability that drains 200 Action points from the target (ALL of their AP lol) and gives it to you, but that wasn't it, it also drained their strength by 48 for 30 seconds. I know DDan had a moral ability that gave someone a MONSTER 600hp heal.
Now, to use your Moral Ability, you need to fight. Hit something enough, and the bar will fill up, and your Moral Ability will unlock. Fill it more, and the second moral ability will unlock, etc. Using a moral ability drains the Moral bar. Moral abilities are also on a cooldown of about 60 seconds. So even if you're in a situation where your hitting shit so much that it's constantly full, you can't spam your Moral Ability.
But Moral Abilities are AWESOME and you should use them as soon as you learn how to. Like an idiot, I didn't notice it until about level 5, after that, it made killing shit so much easier.

So... That's my rundown on the Interface. If there are any questions you want to ask about it, I'll do my best to answer, if you want any screenshots of anything, I'll give them to you as soon as I'm able, just request what you want.

So... Discuss! Quote

This is a placeholder for when I take his comment which will have no relation to my post, take it seriously, and then reply with my own inane brand of insane gibberish.

Or i'll just post the lyrics to another queen song.

This is a placeholder in preperation for that. Quote

In the meantime, there's a new WAR cinematic, and by golly, it's BETTER than the old one. I've watched it 5 times already and I'm PUMPED!
