- T7200 Intel Core 2 2.00GHz CPU
- 1 Gigabyte RAM
- NVIDIA Geforce Go 7600
- Will require a minimum of at least 15 GB of free hard drive space
Okay, that's a short description of where my laptop is at.
Now, I just jumped into beta, created a character (fucking awesome, although loading took about 4-5 minutes), got into the game, and then experienced my first CTD (crash to desktop) after accepting my first quest.
On the specs side of things, it was pretty laggy. I'm going to go and blame that on my 2.00 CPU, and graphics card. Although, probably my internets as well. The most important thing is that with my specs, the game ran. Not desirably, mind you, but it ran.
On that game content side of things, FUCKING AWESOME! I popped a boner within the first five seconds. I met a demon, he was a pretty nice guy, but didn't talk much. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that was because he had his tongue flapping out of his mouth. And I met a chaos chosen, who looked BRUTAL! He gave me a quest, then I crashed. BUT HOLY FUCKING SHIT THIS GAME DOES NOT FUCK AROUND! There's no bullshit green pastures and holding your hand while skipping through the daises. 5 seconds in, and things were exploding around me. I WAS IN A FUCKING WARZONE (lulz doogle)!
Anyway, I'm going to restart, and fuck around with my system a little bit to see if I can crank out a bit more juice to this old system, and I'll let you guys know how that turns out.
BUT GOOD NEWS EVERYONE, IT RAN ON MY SHITTY LAPTOP!

Okay, on my 2nd CTD, after a good 30 mins to an hour of play.
Still convinced that this game doesn't fuck around.
However, after restarting and then closing all unnecessary applications I found the games actually playable on my laptop. The graphics aren't too bad either on it. There's a little bit of lag when talking to quest givers, and the loading screen went through a whole lot quicker this time.
Other than that, things were smoothly enough. I'm playing on an oceanic server, and there was absolutely no lag on my part. I talked to a Berserk Marauder over a cup of coffee about the new dark knight movie and we had a delightful conversation while feasting on crumpets.
Alright, since the 2nd CTD fucked my graphics, I'm due for another restart and then I'm delving in for one more go for the night.
But yeah, 2.00 CPU, Geforce Go 7600, and 1 Gig ram definately runs it on the most basic level. Anything higher would just expand the experience and probably induce random orgasms at the cool content. Btw, tome of knowledge is confusing, but rocks.
Also, interface is confusing, but you don't need to know anything about it save the action bars to peice shit out.

Okay, on my third CTD so far. Which, I'm not all that annoyed about to tell you the truth. I had more CTD's when WoW first launched than I have had with this game so far. At least I'm not crashing every 5 minutes like back then. What is annoying, is that everytime it crashes, it's taking out my graphics card.
So far, extremely impressed with this game. So yeah. It runs alright on my laptop with these configurations, minus the random CTD's. I'm sure they'll fix that up though, if there isn't a fix for it already. I'ma check shit out after I reboot once more.

the game is not far ahead of WoW in terms of graphics, but its smooth and is stylistic like WoW so it doesnt need Age of Conan-like boob physics.
