I'd consider playing it if the PvP system is good, so this way I can be terrible at it. I enjoyed PVE in WoW probably more than any other game, but the PvP itself was so carebear by the time WotLK came out that it was almost impossible for me to be bad at it with the right gear (I still managed though).

Which I understand. With items like expensive mounts, reagents and the other various knick-knacks it doesn't make sense to me that they would lower the repair cost instead of just removing it. It was already low enough, imo, to make it a nuisance. Now it's going to be even more so. If anything, I think they should make it more expensive. That was always one of my favorite aspects about games like EQ1 was that (until 3 expansions down the line) people were generally poor bastards unless you farmed for some rare item like the GBS/FBE or was lucky with getting a FBSS/SSoY. Acronyms 4tw. That's another thing; I'm thinkin' bound / no drop items are getting stale.

Yo Lusia, I didn't know you played EQ.. Me and Babalu played EQ for like 6 or 7 years...I know the acronyms you speak of lol..I used to be the shit back in the day with a yak, a lambent sword, full (i cant remember the blue trade able armors name) armor and an fbss. Oh and I was one of the first Magicians on the Rathe with my epic too..talk about a time sink son of a bitch. I really wish some of these guys could experience how hard EQ really was. It took me a little over a year and a half to reach max level. Hands down my favorite game ever. EQ 3 is rumored to be in the works..I'll def be playing it.

Yah I played on Bertoxxulous as a Shaman. First Shaman w/ full Rune Etched, Second Shaman epic and first Jaundiced legs (I never wanted the BP) from that piece of shit in Karnor's castle. Fuckin, the best of the best tournament.. I was level 57 I think when that was going on and it was for levels 58-60? I was one level below the required, whatever. After the dude who won our server's tournament finished I dueled him and straight destroyed him 3 times in a row. So sucked 
After my guild, Divine, broke up for the most part I joined Prophecy for all of like 4 months. I quit halfway into Planes of Power because I couldn't fuckin' stand constantly getting people keyed for shit anymore.
I also played a bit on Rallos Zek and Veeshan w/ some FoH dudes but never got a character to max.
I was like fuckin' 13 when that game came out, haha. Early 1999 or some shit.

And ya dude, me and Jimmy started EQ 1 in 7th fucken grade. I was on the Rathe, but I never joined Blood of the Spider like I should of. Woulda been part of the first ever sleeper awakening on any server. And I also quit around PoP, the flags and keys were garbage.
